From Booked: Stephen Graham Jones started writing in 1990, in an emergency room. Ten years later, his first novel came out, and, since then, there have been six more, and two collections. It Came From Del Rio and The Ones That Got Away are the most recent books, and Flushboy and Not for Nothing (both from Dzanc) are up next. Jones has also had some hundred and thirty stories published, anthologized, and included in annuals and textbooks. And he still finds himself in the emergency room more than he really planned. Jones teaches in the MFA program at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and has been a member of the Velvet since 2005. More at demontheory.net.
